Orchard  Cottage – our premier cottage – is a beautifully restored former cart-house, originally constructed from cob and now tastefully modernised to offer luxury contemporary living.

Ground floor:

All bedrooms (1 king, 1 super-king/twin and one twin) are downstairs, together with a luxury en-suite shower room to the king room and a fully fitted family bathroom serving the other two rooms.

There is also a utility room with washing machine and second fridge / freezer.

First floor:

All the living space is on the first floor, offering views across South Coombe to the hills beyond. A fully fitted luxury kitchen leads to a dining area and onwards to a spacious relaxation area with smart TV and comfortable settees.

The cottage benefits from under floor heating to both levels.

Outside:

Orchard Cottage stands in its own private garden, adjacent to South Coombe’s cider orchard and there’s a private hot tub to relax in, any time. Perfect after a long walk or day out!

“lovely to have the sheep and lambs so close by.  Really peaceful.  The Miniature Pony Centre was a great hit with our 2.5 year old.  She was able to ride a pony but was more excited by sitting on the tractor!  Living Coasts at Torquay a really good day out. Devon Railway Centre also enjoyed by our little one but it’s a bit small.

Swimming pool is wonderful.  Bread & Pastries very good.
