Over last winter we had a lot of work done on thinning out trees at South Coombe. As well as allowing for even better Devon views this has given us a huge stockpile of logs ready for our winter guests to burn in the wood-burners that are installed in three of our cottages. Christmas and New Year in particular are ideal times to visit and gather around the wood-burners.
